Kat Von D Studded Kiss Créme Lipstick Review

Girl so let me tell you …

I got this Kat Von D Studded Kiss Créme Lipstick in Cathedral (for free) from Influenster the other night, and it’s bomb AF! First of all, it smells freaking amazing! Like marshmallows or some sort of candy, I kid you not … and it feels great on my lips!

Now, I’ve heard of the Kat Von D brand before, but I’ve never actually tried her stuff out. (I was a tad bit excited to read on her website that she’s a perfectionist, much like myself. Lol) So if you’re not familiar with the Kat Von D brand, you’re welcome! It’s a bit more high-end than drugstore lipstick brands, which explains why it smells like you can freaking eat it. Lol However, the brand is also a punk rock-ish, bold, out there, #tattoolife, kind of brand!

If that sort of thing isn’t for you, because you’re the quiet, shy type, or you’re more into hip-hop, that’s totally freaking find because guess what? It’s just makeup damn it! LOL I’m only telling you what kind of brand it is because the punk rock life reminds me of bold, bright colors and the “I don’t give a damn” attitude. (Which trust me, if you’re a mom, you’ve had at least a dozen of those moments already since the beginning of the year. LOL)

But enough of my jibber jabber … let’s move on to my review, shall we?

Let’s start from the top aka the first thing you see when you purchase lipstick …

The packaging

Kat Von D Studded Kiss Créme Lipstick

This is what the box looks like. (Sorry I couldn’t get a clearer photo, I’m still learning how to use my camera okay? Lol But you can see it hell! If you need to see it clearer you can visit their website at katvondbeauty.com. See … simple, problem fixed. LOL)

FYI – I love that the box sort of looks like the studs from a bracelet, or a biker jacket.

And this is what the packaging of the lipstick actually looks like …

Kat Von D Studded Kiss Créme Lipstick

How cute is this? It’s the same “studded” look like on the box. I’m not gonna lie, I’m a sucker for cute packaging as much as I am for fruity, sweet smells, so this is right up my alley.

However, one thing I’ve noticed about this is that it’s a bit hard to remember how to open it. (That, or I’m just slow AF. Lol) But seriously, I keep forgetting to pull. I don’t know why I keep thinking this thang is twisty. Oh and don’t forget to push it all the way closed until you hear the snap! (I made that mistake and it fell open. That ain’t something you want to happen while it’s in your bag. Lol But I could be forgetting to close it because I have a lipstick where the case is magnetic, so it automatically closes. Lol)

Anywho, moving on …

The Lipstick

Kat Von D Studded Kiss Créme Lipstick

So if you didn’t read my intro above (it’s okay, I skim when I read too, lol) I got this lipstick in Cathedral which according to their website is a satin matte coco rose color. For me, it’s a nude and everyday color. (Which of course I love, but since this is a color I’d walk into a store and buy, and a color I always end up with, this year I was hoping to switch things up a bit and go a bit bolder. I have my eyes set on Plan 9, Poe or A-Go-Go, which you’ll see below when I show you the other colors.)

Speaking of other colors, this lipstick has 40 different shades and 3 different finishes. There’s the satin matte, like the one I have, and then there’s the glimmer and metallic finishes. I’m dying to try a glimmer and metallic because that’s totally out of my norm and like I said, this year I’m tryna live my best life. Lol

The Review

Kat Von D Studded Kiss Créme Lipstick

First things first, even though this Kat Von D Studded Kiss Lipstick is a satin matte, and it’s really soft, please remember it’s still a matte lipstick. Which means yes … it transfers. Although it’s not as bad as my ColourPop lipsticks, the amount that rubs off on your food/straw is similar to how much a normal lipstick would rub off. So it’s not too bad.

The plus side is, because it’s a little easy to come off, it’s easy to come off. LOL I wiped it off my lips with my bare wet hands! It took about 3 wipes and that was it. Soap and water washed it off my arm after I swatched it, and I didn’t need to scrub my entire arm off or scrap and scratch it off like some of the other lipsticks I’ve had.

I did eat with it on so I could test out how long it would last, and when I was done eating I still had some color on. Pow! Although my lips did feel a little dry after, like I needed to reapply a bit, but it wasn’t too bad. I was on my way home so I didn’t bother putting on more lipstick. However, I have learned that if I’m wearing a matte lipstick and it feels a little dry, I can just add a bit of chapstick over it and I’m fine. Lol

FYI – My lips are always dry, so how long it really lasts for you could be different. However, I’m always putting chapstick on throughout the day. Always! Lol

When I got home, it started getting a bit (just a tad bit) grainy, so I would have had to wipe it off completely to reapply. But once again, because of my dry ass lips, that’s how every lipstick is for me. Lol

Kat Von D Studded Kiss Créme Lipstick

Final Thoughts

So I can’t rub my lips together like I’m so used to doing because it’ll dry out and it just won’t let me smoothly rub them together. Lol But it is really soft and it goes on really smooth.

It’s great for everyday use since I’m not a fan of wearing makeup all the time especially if I was just going out on errands or to work, so it’s a great color for “relaxed” mode. If you’re looking for something a bit bolder, you’ll have to try another color. But there are 40 to choose from so hey!

Oh and I’d say you might need to reapply mid-day if you left with it on in the morning for work, especially if you ate and drank something for breakfast. If you’re going out after work, you’ll definitely want to reapply for that creamy, smooth feel again. If not, you’re totally fine after that.

Now, would I pay $19 for this? Actually, I might … as a splurge, because: (1) I love lipstick and (2) I’m a sucker for things that smell good. I don’t remember drugstore lipsticks smelling this good or feeling this good, so I might actually need to follow-up and test them against one another. But if the price isn’t an issue for you then yes, get it!

FYI, just in case you care about this kind of stuff, this lipstick is also vegan and cruelty-free.

Here’s what it looks like on me …

How To Raise A Strong MasterChef Junior Contestant

So your kid wants to help cook, but you’re terrified …

Sh*t me too! Lol If you’ve been reading my blog over the last few days you’ll know that one of my goals this year is to let my daughter help me cook more. When I asked her how I could become a better mom, this was one of her requests! Yup. She straight up told me she wanted to help cook! However, I’m absolutely terrified of letting her help in the kitchen.

I mean for god’s sake she’s only 5 years old damn it!

But then I think back to one of our favorite shows, MasterChef Junior, and realize that those kids aren’t much older than her. They had to start somewhere, right? So maybe I should let her?

Now I’m not saying that in 3 years she has to apply for MasterChef Junior if I start letting her cook on her own. However, I do have to consider that there’s a reason those kids are picked for that show, and there are skills that they have that I’d like my daughter to have as well. (That’s why I’m using this show as an example, instead of saying a professional baker/chef.)

How To Raise A Strong MasterChef Junior Contestant

Hell, it would be nice to come home to a cooked meal after work one day and find out that my daughter made it. Imagine what Mother’s Day would be like! Breakfast in bed … candlelight dinner. Lol Sh*t, do you know how many photos I’d take of her food! I’d be all up on Instagram with this ish! #kidscancook #mybabymadethis #ohshitlookatthis #mykidisbetterthanyours Lol

However, for her to ever get to that point, or for her to ever become a MasterChef Junior contestant, I have to start letting her learn now! And if you want your child to do the same, you have to be willing to let them make a mess. (*cringe* I know!) So the question is ….

What makes a strong MasterChef Junior contestant:

Now I’m no expert, and I don’t pick the contestants, but I’ve watched the show long enough to know what makes a strong MasterChef Junior contestant. I can tell you who’s going home before the kids even start cooking! Here’s what usually determines what kid goes home first, and what kid makes it into the finale:

  • Personality
  • Cooking Skills
  • Plating Skills
  • Communication Skills
  • Confidence
  • Endurance

Are they spunky? Do they always say something cute or cheeky? Do they have a response for everything you say? Can they make mistakes without having a complete meltdown? I know it seems crazy that an 8 year old would have to produce a visually appealing plate, but let’s be honest, if an 8 year old handed you a plate of food that looked like a mess, would you really eat it? Exactly! These are usually some of the traits I see in the final contestants, and these are the traits I want my daughter to have. So if she wants to cook more this year, I’m here for it!

Hell, she’s already started! Last week she made cupcakes, with a little help from her Aunt, using the Real Cooking Kids baking set she got for Christmas. Here’s a few photos of her baking:

As you can see, she made a bit of a mess, but she also had a blast! She even saved two cupcakes for her best friends and brought them to school the next day so they could have a special snack at lunchtime. It was the cutest thing ever! But here’s what you really came for:

Step 1: Back the f*ck up and let your child breathe! That’s it!

No seriously, take three steps back and then just stand there and watch. (Now if only I could take this damn advice myself. Lol) However, a few days ago I got to watch my daughter bake with her Aunt and as I took photos of her very first time baking “alone” I saw how happy she was.

As mothers, we tend to always want to help our kids with whatever they’re doing, but honestly, all this does is hinder their growth.

When people compliment me on how well she communicates with others, or even a few years ago when people would stop to tell me how great she was walking for a two-year-old … how’d ya think she got to that point of “perfection”? Practice! And me letting her do things on her own. When she talks, I let her talk. When she was learning how to walk, she walked everywhere we went! #NoStrollerGang And those were things she didn’t want to do! Lol So why is it so hard for me to let her do this on her own, now that she actually wants to do it?

Maybe it’s because we have a tendency to become helicopter parents because that’s how we were raised. Maybe it’s because we’re scared of the mess they’ll make if we let them do it on their own. Hell, maybe it’s because we’re scared they’ll fail. We’re scared that if we let them cook on their own, something will get burnt – whether it’s the food or their fingers. We’re scared of eating egg shells that were accidentally dropped in the cake batter. Lol But worst of all, we’re scared that it’ll turn out like crap and they’ll be disappointed.

But if we don’t let them fail, how are they going to learn?

We have to let them make mistakes, so they can learn from them!

So what if it doesn’t come out perfect? They’re not looking for perfection! All they really want is to do something they love doing. Hell, we should be glad they want to help and learn. This year I’m giving my daughter what she wants! I’m gonna let her cook and bake her heart out! She’s gonna make snacks for her friends and for herself. And she’s gonna practice and practice until she’s good enough to audition for MasterChef Junior. But shhhh … don’t tell her that! Lol

Does your child like to cook or bake?

Leave a comment below and let me know! Oh and if you’re a MasterChef Junior fan (or intrigued by the idea of watching Gordon Ramsey be nice for once) season six starts this March! There’s gonna be an “alphabet” mystery box challenge, with 26 different ingredients that all start with a different letter of the alphabet; a wedding; chicken and waffles; and a Blue Apron mystery box challenge. All designed for these tiny chef-testants to battle it out for a grand prize of $100,000.

Here’s a quick sneak peak at season 6 before you go:

My Word of The Year + 25 Extra "Word of the Year" Ideas For Moms

Listen Linda, this the last time I’m saying Happy New Year.

*sings in my Trey Songz voice* This is the last time … now I’m all caught up & it’s time to … write this post. LOL

Okay? Almost remixed the whole damn song just now. Let me stop playing around before you click that exit button and move on to something else. LOL But seriously, Linda, won’t be no more Happy New Year on Wednesday when my next blog post (about easy breakfasts moms can make in less than 10 mins for themselves so they don’t skip the “most important meal of the day”) publishes. I ain’t saying it again because it’s the second week of the year and by golly, it’s played out. Lol (FYI: If you need that breakfast ideas post, and you’re not already subscribed to my email list, you should do that now so you don’t miss out. Click here to subscribe.)

Anywho, how about we talk about what you actually came here for! My word of the year and the list of words you can choose your own word of the year from. So without further ado, my word:

word of the year

Yeah that’s right, I chose two words, bite me!

But in all honesty, I wasn’t tryna be a badass by picking two words for my “word of the year”, I just love what the phrase “girl boss” stands for. To me, a “girl boss” is someone who has her sh*t to-get-ther! Like all the way together. I’m talking about hair did, nails did, everything did; blazer, sarcastic graphic tee, skinny jeans and ankle boots with a heel (she’s most comfortable in); hot coffee in hand; with her to-do list written out in a cute planner already half done … that kind of together! And that’s exactly who I wanna be this year!

Last year, I got fired from my job for no reason what so ever, and ever since I haven’t been able to get a new one. A few weeks ago, I went on a great interview for an amazing school that I was sure I’d get because I had everything they needed. But I didn’t get the job, and I have to admit it’s shaken me a bit. It sucks being in a toxic “home” environment and not being able to secure a job that would allow you and your child to move. It’s even worse to get excited about a prospective job offer, go in confidently (when you’re so used to being nervous) kill, and still not get the job. But I’m determined not to give up. This year, I’m gon’ get my sh*t together, and I’m gonna be the baddest girl boss you’ve ever seen!

My Word of The Year + 25 Extra "Word of the Year" Ideas For Moms

You know what would make me feel more like a girl boss?

  • Moving out of this hell hole into my own apartment
  • Finally learning how to drive and getting a car (preferably a red Nissan Juke)
  • Cooking dinner for my daughter at least 3x a week instead of ordering in
  • Having enough money to do rawther fancy things on the weekend with my daughter (we’ve been watching Me, Eloise on Hulu a lot lately, hence my use of rawther, lol … she’s pretty much hooked on Eloise at the Plaza now, but it’s okay because I like her too)
  • Spending the night at a luxurious hotel by myself for a little me time
  • Spending a week at the Nickelodeon Resort
  • Giving my daughter an American Girl doll and then taking her and her doll to the store to get their hair and nails done, along with a new outfit
  • Eating my dinner on Cheeky Home plates from their Memphis collection
  • Spending a weekend at the Lotte New York Palace Hotel (under their Little Royals Package) so my daughter can pretend to be a real princess
  • Having my daughter’s BFF’s spend the night with her in the Eloise at the Plaza Suite in The Plaza Hotel
  • Oh and some new cute clothes and shoes would be nice, along with a day at the spa

Doesn’t that all sound so good right now? Sigh … Oh well, a girl can dream right? Now here’s what you’ve been waiting for:

What’s your word of the year?

If you don’t have one yet, that’s totally fine, you can choose from one of the suggestions below. (I didn’t have one until a few days ago when I saw every other blogger in town posting about their word of the year, so yeah, I’m not here to judge. Lol)

  1. Love
  2. Create
  3. Do
  4. Joy
  5. Overcame
  6. Warrior
  7. Thankful
  8. Still Standing
  9. Blessed
  10. Aesthetic
  11. Lit
  12. Finesse
  13. GOAT
  14. Live
  15. Low Key
  16. Savage
  17. Snatched
  18. Change
  19. Badass
  20. Fearless
  21. Try
  22. Nope
  23. Unstoppable
  24. Listen
  25. Travel

So, what makes you feel like a girl boss?

Self Care Ideas For Moms

Happy New Year girl!

How you doing?

It’s the first week of the year, and that means new beginnings for us all! Now, I don’t know about you, but I am so over the “new year, new me” bullsh*t that everyone spews out during the first month of each new year. Okay? Like, we get it, you wanna change sh*t up, go ‘head, do you, mama! But don’t be sitting here telling us on every other Facebook post how much you’re gonna change this year, to only end up doing the exact same sh*t you were doing last year.

And guess what? This applies to me too! I have a tendency to say I’m going to change something each year, and then those promises get shoved under a rug somewhere inside my scattered mom brain, and it never happens. But I’m determined to change that this year!

With that being said …

This month’s theme is: Becoming A Better Mom

Which means that every post I write this month will be geared towards becoming a better mom.

Today’s post is dedicated to self care ideas for moms, who can never seem to slow down enough to stop the world from spinning for a few minutes, like you, and sometimes me too.

25 Self Care Ideas For Moms That Only Have 10 Mins To Spare

About a week ago, a Facebook friend of mine and fellow blogger, Danielle from Ok Dani, asked everyone what they were doing for self care that day. Someone responded and said she had no clue where to start. Like many other moms, she was overworked, overwhelmed, and her to-do list seemed so long she didn’t think there was a way she’d be able to fit in an hour of self care.

For most busy moms, that’s the reality of life, and if we try to change that now with no real support, we’re only setting ourselves up for failure.

That’s why I created this list of self care ideas, which should all take about 10 mins (eachto complete. Listen Linda, not everyone has time for a full hour of self care each day! Hell, some of us can’t even get a full hour of silence, most days.

With this list of ideas, you’ll be able to pick one self care item to do each day, or as needed, without feeling guilty about having to leave the kids with someone else. (And if you can’t ever seem to find a babysitter when you need one, then this is perfect for you.) You can do most of these tasks right at home, while your child takes a nap. And guess what? Ten minutes ain’t gonna kill you or your to-do list, girl! So you don’t have no damn excuse this year! You hear me? We gon’ get our sh*t together this year girl, you and me both!

To make it easier for you … for us! I’ll be hosting a 7 Day “Self Care in 10 Mins” Instagram Challenge for busy moms that need some extra motivation + support with this, in two weeks! I’ll have more details for you this Sunday when I send out my first newsletter of the year, so if you haven’t already, click the photo below to subscribe to my newsletter so you don’t miss a thing!

#MomGoals: 5 Things To Do This Year To Become A Better Mom + A $25 Fenty Beauty Gift Card Giveaway

First of all … Happy New Year!

Can you believe it’s the third day of the year already? Goodness! I swear to you it feels like the first day of school was just yesterday! (Listen, Linda, I’s clearly lying, the first day of school was months ago but isn’t that what I’m supposed to say during the first week of the year? Lol)

As you can see, (okay maybe you can’t tell if this is your first time reading my blog), but I revamped my blog and I love the way it looks now. A few months ago, I decided to revamp thangs and become a “mommy blogger” because I’m always talking about my kid and the things we do. So I ended up changing my blog’s name from Vicious Quipster to A Mom That Sleeps, so it would fit my content better.

But when I changed the name, I didn’t bother getting a pretty layout because I wasn’t sure I could keep this thing going for long. However … it’s been a few months, and I haven’t thrown in the towel yet, so I figured I’d do this “right” for the new year. Not only did I change my name and theme, I also created a cool editorial calendar as well, with monthly themes and all.

But before I go on, if you’re just here for the Fenty Beauty $25 gift card giveaway, you’re gonna have to scroll all the way to the bottom to read all about it! Listen, Linda, don’t be rolling ya eyes at me because you gotta scroll all the way to the bottom, at least I told you! LOL

fenty beauty $25 gift card giveaway

And with that being said …

This month’s theme is: Becoming A Better Mom

Which means that every post I write this month will be geared towards becoming a better mom.

Now, these goals are totally for me but feel free to add a few of them to your list as well. Wait, do you even have a list? Lol Don’t worry, I’m not judging you. I know how mom life can be! But since it’s the third day of the year and all, and you know, this is what we’re supposed to do during the first week, why not create your list today? Just grab a piece of paper and write it down! (Do it now so you don’t forget.) Trust me, it’s so much better when you write it down, instead of just typing it up. I get a lot more done that way.

But don’t forget to also put it somewhere you’ll see it often. (If you can’t physically see it, there’s a 99.9% chance that you’ll forget all about it via the “out of sight, out of mind” rule and the “ain’t nobody got time to remember Keisha’s dance class schedule, what I need to grab from Target for dinner, who I need to call back so I don’t get fired and the list of goals I made the first week of the year” rule. Feel me? So write it down, then make it visible!

How To Become A Better Mom

Now on to the list …

1. Sleep more!

My blog isn’t called “A Mom That Sleeps” for no reason, ya’ know! Over the last few months, since I got fired for no reason and all, I’ve noticed that I’m so much better off now that I actually get some sleep. I mean, I knew I wasn’t getting enough sleep before, but I didn’t fully realize how much it was affecting my parenting until I started getting more sleep. Lol (I’d say set a schedule for this, but the reality is that’s impossible. Lol We all know how being a mom is, one moment we’re free and the next minute we’re on a random Target run to grab something we forgot and need for the dinner we planned to make … which never actually gets made.)

2. Stop comparing your life to hers!

See that mom on Insta with great hair, amazing makeup, and an even better wardrobe who seems like she has her life together? It’s mostly all fake! Okay, it may not be fake, but it’s definitely staged. All those great photos on Instagram are staged! I’m a blogger, I know! Now, I’m not saying her life isn’t great, but what I’m saying is, those photos are meant to be amazing! They don’t show all the stress she went through to get that photo or to even get to that point in her life. So you really have no clue how hard it is for her.

Hell, even Beyoncé has issues!

only human Beyonce

3. Make “me time” a real thing, every day!

Even if it’s just for 5 minutes out of your day, and all you get to do is indulge in a sweet treat. (You know, like how those commercials always show women eating chocolate really, really slowly? Lol) I actually did this a few weeks ago, with my Thindulgent salted caramel cookies, pictured below. (Okay, I’m lying, I took that photo after eating half the pack of cookies, but that was totally self-care! I don’t care what you say! LOL) Oh, and don’t just do it for those snaps or insta posts. Lol, Do it for yourself! Because that 5 minutes will seriously clear your head.

4. Make better food choices.

I’m not saying you need to go on a diet Linda, damn it. I did NOT call you fat. Lol, I have no clue what you look like! (Which you can totally change by following me on Snapchat or Instagram! I’ll follow back! Just leave me a note letting me know you read my blog.) However, eating better means you’ll have more energy to run around and do the 101 things you have on your to-do list that hasn’t been done within the last 3 years. Lol So stop with the junk food … or be tired, it’s your choice! (I should probably take my own advice since my body is currently dying for sleep. Lol Probably should have picked a better photo for #3 too, huh? *shrugs*)

You get the point damn it.

5. Dance aka Exercise.

Not just because “exercising” has to be on everyone’s New Year’s resolution list or you didn’t really make one, but because it’ll make you feel better. Either it’ll get rid of some of the stress and anger you’ve built up throughout the day, or it’ll make you feel really good. Hell, you may even lose a few pounds if you do it every day and that’ll definitely make you feel good!

I started dancing a few times a night last year, just for fun, and when my aunt came over and asked if I had “lost weight”, I mentally lost it. I shrugged and said “iono”, but in my head, I was doing backflips all over the place and screaming f*ck yeah. Lol If you absolutely hate dancing, then try a fun fitness class like rowing, instead! (I’ll be doing a post about fun fitness classes later on this month, as part of my “becoming a better mom” series, so don’t forget to subscribe to my blog and follow me on social media so you don’t miss out!)

Bonus: I asked my daughter how I could be a better mom this year, and here’s what she said …

“Let me watch tv every night, and don’t have a bed time.”

“Let me stay up really late.”

“Don’t yell so much, I don’t like it when you yell at me.”

“Let me help cook.”

Ummm … I don’t know how I feel about this “list” of hers, but I do think she has a point. I hate yelling myself. But I think I was so stressed out last year that it felt like all I did was yell. However, I’m sure with her father’s help I can figure out how to communicate without yelling. (Although it’s quite effective, it’s not really the best way to get things done. Lol) He’s the cool and calm one though, so I’ll figure it out this year.

But I really do need to let her cook more! She loves helping, yet somehow I’m always trying to use my time in the kitchen as “me time”. (I know, stupid.) So usually I want her out of my way so I can think, and clearly, that’s not effective parenting. (At least, my 5-year-old doesn’t think so.) Maybe this year I’ll have her bake or cook at least once a month, and we can set aside time for her to do things all on her own! She did get a baking set and recipe book for Christmas this year from her sister, aka BFF, so that’ll be a great start.

But here’s what you really came for …

christmas gifts for millennial moms

That you’ll probably end up buying your damn self …

But you shouldn’t have to! It’s Christmas damn it! Every mother deserves a treat at the end of another very long year. Whether your kid is 1 or 13, you’ve had quite a year, and just one of these gifts would totally make it better. I know! I’m a mother, with a 5-year-old girl, and I want every damn thing on this list myself. Lol (Hell, I have one of them already! This mug is from the Cheeky dinnerware set mentioned below. I don’t have the full set though. *cough cough* Lol)

Cheeky Home mug

So if you happen to know someone that doesn’t have anyone to buy Christmas gifts for this year and they’d like to “pay it forward”, tell them to send me anything on the list below. I promise you I’ve been good all year! I met Santa a few weeks ago when I went to the Bad Moms Christmas movie screening and I’m sure he’ll agree. Lol

Related: #BadMomsXmas Is A Really Bad Movie, But At Least The Screening Was Fun

However, if you’re anything like me, you probably won’t be receiving gifts this year. (My family has this stupid rule that once you’re an adult, especially an adult with a kid, you no longer deserve nice things. *rolls eyes indefinitely*) But that doesn’t mean I can’t buy it myself! And you shouldn’t have to wait for anyone else either! Treat yo’ self, damn it! This year, don’t just get the kids something, get yourself something! You deserve it! (Don’t believe me? Think about everything that’s happened this year, good or bad, and you’ll see!)

Now that you’re done crying, here’s 10 awesome Christmas gifts for millennial moms! (Whether it’s for you, or another mom you know.) Oh and before you start oohing and ahhing, at the end of this post, there’s also a handy Gift Price Comparison Sheet that’ll allow you to compare prices for each gift you have to buy this Christmas. (With this sheet, you’ll be able to easily figure out which store gives you a better offer, after comparing prices, cash back bonuses and adding any coupons you may have.)

OMG WAIT …

… one more thing! (I’m sorry. I know this is taking forever. Lol) But before you purchase any Christmas gifts this year, which I hope you’re doing all of your shopping online, make sure you install Ebates! It allows you to earn cash back for every purchase you make, as long as that store offers cash back, and with all of the money you’ll be spending this holiday season, there’s no reason you shouldn’t be making some of that money back! It’s totally FREE and they’ll give you $10 just for signing up! (I even added how much cash back you’ll earn at each store below, which you’ll be able to add to your Gift Price Comparison Sheet, to help you figure out how much cash back you could earn for each gift you buy!)

You’ll also get the important notifications you need the most – like when it’s time to leave so you “won’t be late”, or when dad is finally calling so he can take the baby out for the evening, while you catch up on sleep, straight to your wrist. (Which means it’s totally okay to lose your phone for an hour or 2, you know like you always do? Lol)

Because you can never seem to get enough sleep throughout the night due to a thousand and one feedings, nightmares and the endless to-do list that keeps playing over and over in her head.

Lol)

Cool Factor: The coating on the fingertips makes them recognizable to touch screens, so you can call your kids and remind them to do their chores before you get home. (But you won’t because it’s so much funnier watching them run around the house trying to get it all done before you open the door.)
